Having imported Selco welding machines from Italy since early 2012, when they were bought out by Voestalpine Bohler in late 2019, we were left high and dry! Luckily we discovered Weco which was founded in 1997 by some ex Selco employees. They have over the years been joined by many other former Selco employees, many from the machine design and development side of the business! This explains why many of the features and control interfaces will look familliar to owners of particularly earlier generations of Selco machines! This means that not only have the same standards of design, engineering and build quality been transferred to the Weco machines, but the innovative features have continued to be applied to new Weco models, and nowhere else! This is most notable in the new Evo range of products and the digital pulse MIG machines! This innovation is best shown by the range of machines that offer the most complete multi process features of any make of welding machine available today! There are a range of machines that offer choices of synergic and pulse MIG machines that are proper ac/dc TIG machines, as well as being able to be used for MMA welding and even arc air gouging processes on the higher amperage models! DO YOU HAVE A REQUIREMENT TO WELD FOM A 110v SUPPLY?
We stock a selection of Weco and CAT machines that are all capable of welding from a 110v supply, covering MMA, MIG and TIG ac/dc and just TIG dc. All have duty cycles that far exceed those of machines from so called "major" or "popular" brands, let alone the cheaper brands! In a recent demonstration against another yellow coloured machine supposedly from Sweden the CAT DZ261 PFC MIG was found to have double the duty cycle of the competition at maximum amps on both 240v and 110v, and yet cost considerably less to buy than that machine, which incidentally is made a lot further East than Sweden!
